Jaxon Smith-Njigba quelled the fears of some Ohio State fans Sunday evening, hopping on Twitter to deliver a promising update on his hamstring injury which caused him to miss the Buckeyes’ 52-21 in over Wisconsin.
Hamstring injuries can be delicate. The Buckeyes are rolling in his absence – there’s little need to accelerate this and cause further issues.
Smith-Njigba’s message on Twitter was a promising one:
Kills me that I haven’t been out there yet. I know God has a bigger plan! I’ll be back sooner than later.I know my brothers gonna keep handling business! Love y’all 💯 Go Bucks

Smith-Njigba has not looked as dominant as he did last season, and Buckeye fans desperatley want to see this train chug out of the station. The star receiver has amassed just 4 receptions for 36 yards so far this season.
The junior from Rockwall, Texas totaled 96 receptions for over 1,000 yards and 9 touchdowns last season.
