Nebraska freshman WR will miss 2017 with knee injury

One of Nebraska’s incoming four-star receivers will be out for the upcoming season, Mike Riley said on Thursday.
Jaevon McQuitty, a four-star receiver out of Missouri who enrolled back in January, suffered a season-ending knee injury during fall camp. He was injured while doing a blocking drill:

This is a huge loss for Nebraska, especially as the Huskers attempt to replace talented receivers like Jordan Westerkamp, Brandon Reilly and Alonzo Moore. McQuitty was ranked as the No. 42 receiver in the 2017 recruiting class, per 247Sports.
Nebraska already lost incoming four-star receiver Keyshawn Johnson, Jr., after his father, Keyshawn Johnson, Sr., pulled him off the team for being caught with marijuana in an on-campus dorm room.
That leaves Tyjon Lindsey as the only remaining four-star receiver from the 2017 class who could see the field this fall.
