Fortunately, Day is expecting at least a couple of pieces back for Saturday’s game against Rutgers. During his weekly press conference, Day said that the Buckeyes are hoping to have Cam Brown and Denzel Burke available for the week ahead. However, Jordan Hancock’s return is still likely to be further out.
Ryan Day says Ohio State is hoping to “at least have Cam (Brown) and Denzel (Burke) back,” at CB, but that Jordan Hancock’s return is probably further out.

Day also said the team expects safety Lathan Ransom to be back for Week 5 after he was absent against Wisconsin despite not landing on the status report for the matchup. Ransom’s issue cropped up late in the week, but Day said the team will try to adjust when the status report is compiled to ensure accuracy.
Day says the Buckeyes expect Lathan Ransom to be available this weekend, and that the staff will meet closer to gametime about the status report in general moving forward so that it’s more accurate when OSU releases it.
