Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin was not happy with the fans leaving early during Saturday’s win over Tulsa.
It turned out to be a 35-27 win for Mississippi and Kiffin wanted to see more fans stay for the entire game. The game ended up being close at the end and Kiffin’s team was able to hold on for a win.
"When you come back out, run out of the tunnel and it looks like a high school game, you can't let that affect you. I've tried social media for two years but I'll worry about what I can control"

Kiffin wanted to use the home-field advantage to Mississippi’s benefit, but the light crowd made it hard to play in front of. He compared the stadium atmosphere in the 2nd half of the game to a high school game being played in a college stadium:
“Regardless of what you come out to before the game or at a halftime, when you come back out and you run out of the tunnel and it looks like a high school game played in a college stadium, you can’t let that affect you,” said Kiffin. “There’s psychology to that, obviously. There’s a home-field advantage for a reason. And when it goes the other way, you kind of have that feeling are we still really playing in a game here? The players have to fight that. We use that as a learning lesson for our guys.”
In Week 5, Mississippi will have a very important SEC home game against Kentucky on Saturday.
