The scuffle came after Rutgers return man Aron Cruickshank was ejected for a late hit. The scuffle ended with Ryan Day and Greg Schiano both receiving unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.
Luckily, it seemed that Greg Schiano and Ryan Day were over the debacle at the end of the game. Day says the two head coaches put the matter to bed during his post-game interview with BTN’s Rick Pizzo.
“All it was, nothing but respect for Greg,” said Day. “Something like that comes up, “He’s defending his guys. Part of the game, unfortunately. That was something that he kind of did on his own, what it was, but we talked about it after the game. All good.”
