Notre Dame football will have two familiar names calling its games this fall.
NBC Sports recently announced that former ESPN broadcaster Mike Tirico will be handling the play-by-play duties for the Fighting Irish this season. Doug Flutie will be the analyst in the booth.
Tirico was a substitute play-by-play voice for Notre Dame last season but has taken over the full-time role, replacing Dan Hicks. He will call all seven games carried by NBC in 2017.
