Logan Lee and the rest of his Iowa teammates understands how important it will be to get back on track against Illinois. The Hawkeyes are coming off of a loss to Michigan at home in Week 5.

The game doesn’t hold any significance like that of the annual Iowa State battle for the Cy-Hawk Trophy. The game means a lot because it’s the next game on the schedule.

Lee stated that not much has changed in how the team has prepared for Illinois via Chad Leistikow of the Des Moines Register.

“We’re always confident with the way we prepare throughout the week. Nothing’s changed,” said Lee.

Illinois is not going to be an easy opponent. Chase Brown has been dominating defenses this season. The Fighting Illini are 4-1 heading into the Iowa game.

The Iowa rush has been solid this season, however. The Hawkeyes are allowing 92.8 yards rushing per game so far.

Iowa-Illinois kicks off Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on BTN.
