Justin Fields has been in a slump recently, disappointing fans, and leaving the field after dismal performances.

The former OSU Buckeye turned Bears QB has struggled recently, including going 8/17 for only 106 yards, 2 INTs and 5 sacks in Chicago’s Week 3 matchup with the Texans.

Prior to the Bears contest with the Giants, Fields had a 148.5 total yardage prop, a number that is believed to be the lowest number in FanDuel history for a starting quarterback. Turns out the stats weren’t totally wrong, as the Bears fell to the Giants 12-20. Fields was only 11/22 for just 174 yards passing, and 52 yards on 7 carries rushing. Fields and the Bears failed to make a single touchdown, with all 12 points coming from the foot of kicker Michael Badgley.

Despite being brutally roasted by fans on social media for such terrible performances, it appears as though the Bears organization is standing firmly behind their QB. Bears OC Luke Getsy praised Fields, saying the QB has “grown tremendously”.
