It seems that neither side of the Michigan-Indiana matchup is happy with the officiating thus far.
For example, Michigan EDGE Jaylen Harrell was penalized for a fairly innocuous gesture.

The gesture by Harrell is fairly common in all levels of football in 2022. Twitter was full of reactions from both sides.
I don’t know that it’s a bad call, but I have no idea why they got that much time and video replay to make that judgment.

The officials weren’t supposed to let them snap it. That’s the third free first down Indiana has been given already.

Early on in Bloomington, Michigan is getting jobbed by officials

The officials just screwed Indiana there.
Maybe the most incompetent crew of the year so far…
And that’s saying something!

Perhaps the most egregious call was this offensive pass interference that negated an Indiana TD. It might have been the correct call, but why was the flag not thrown until Indiana was about to kick the extra point?

Indiana would end up settling for a FG after the TD was wiped off of the board.
