Taulia Tagovailoa finally got the Terps back into the endzone, finding Roman Hemby on a screen pass for an 11-yard score.

The go-ahead TD put the Terps back on top, but the extra point was blocked, making it a 23-17 game midway through the 4th.

However, Maryland’s lead would not last long. Purdue would retake the lead with a 4-minute scoring drive of their own.

The Purdue drive was capped off by a 4-yard TD pass to Payne Durham. Purdue nailed the extra point to take a 24-23 lead with just over 3 minutes left in regulation.

Maryland would quickly go 3-and-out and punt the ball back to Purdue. Purdue decided they needed some insurance, and they got it with Devin Mockobee.

The Terps are down 8 with under a minute to play.
