Michigan took down Indiana 31-10 on Saturday. Although it was not their best performance, the win made the WOlverines the first bowl-eligible team in 2022.

Fox College Football announced on Twitter after the win that the Wolverines were bowl eligible.

With the win, No. 4 Michigan advanced to 6-0 on the season. It wasn’t an easy win for the Wolverines, the offense struggled with third-down conversions and had a field goal blocked. The defense also struggled, giving up big chunks of yardage and 4 third-down conversions to the Hoosiers. The Hoosiers were huge underdogs but went toe-to-toe with the Wolverines in the first half.

To officially become bowl-eligible, a team needs at least six wins with a minimum winning percentage of .500, which Michigan attained on Saturday. The Wolverines are on the hunt for the biggest bowl of all, a national championship. They face off against Penn State next Saturday.
