Jayden Reed kept Michigan State in the game against Ohio State with his touchdown catch in the second quarter. Reed tried to mirror what Marvin Harrison Jr. did on Ohio State’s first touchdown of the game.

Reed’s touchdown was 18 yards compared to Harrison’s touchdown of 19 yards. Payton Thorne hit Reed on a pass in the front corner of the end zone.

Michigan State is doing everything it can to keep pace with Ohio State in the first half so far. The Buckeyes have the one of the best offenses in the nation and are averaging 529.6 total yards per game.

The Spartans will need to keep this up throughout the second half as well if they want to have a chance of pulling off the upset in East Lansing.

Unfortunately Ohio State was able to march down the field and score on a TreVeyon Henderson touchdown run to make it a two-score game shortly after the score from Reed.
