Northwestern started the season with a 31-28 win over Nebraska in Week 0 in Ireland but has proceeded to lose five consecutive games.
The Wildcats lost at home to the Duke Blue Devils 31-23, followed by an embarrassing 31-24 home loss to Southern Illinois, an FCS team. It didn’t get better as the Wildcats lost at home to Miami (Ohio) 17-14.
Northwestern is coming off a 42-7 home loss to Wisconsin in Week 6 as the Wildcats turned the ball over three times while Wisconsin didn’t turn the ball over. The defense of Northwestern allowed 515 total yards from the offense of Wisconsin.
The Wildcats will go on the road to take on the Maryland Terrapins in Week 7.
