WATCH: Former Iowa connection hooks up for TD in NFL preseason game

Iowa fans are going to miss this connection.
Former Hawkeyes C.J. Beathard and George Kittle showed why they were so hard to stop in the B1G. In the third quarter of a matchup between the 49ers and Broncos, Beathard found Kittle for what looked like a short gain.
Instead, Kittle turned it into a 29-yard TD pass:

Looks like that Iowa connection is still creating headaches for defenses.
Beathard finished the night completing 7-of-12 passes for 110 yards and a touchdown. Kittle had three catches for 33 yards a score.
