The Badgers took down Northwestern in spectacular fashion on Saturday, rolling the Wildcats 42-7. Wisconsin jumped to a 28-0 going into the half, and led by as much as 35 in the fourth quarter. The Badgers offense amassed 515 total yards and 26 first downs.
Wisconsin interim head coach Jim Leonhard made a statement with the win, becoming only the third coach ever to win their 1st B1G game coached in their career. The effort earned Leonhard a spot on Kirk Herbstreit’s list of Top Performing Coaches in Week 6.
The analyst released his list of coaches that had an outstanding week on Twitter Monday.

Leonhard assumed control at Wisconsin when head coach Paul Chryst was fired after a 34-10 home loss to Illinois in Week 5 and a 55-21 road loss to No. 3 Ohio State in Week 4. Leonhard is a native of Wisconsin, and starred as the Badgers strong safety in the early 2000s. Winning head coach can now be added to his resume.
