Rutgers names Kyle Bolin as its’ starting QB

The new look Rutgers offense will officially have a new quarterback.
Head coach Chris Ash named Kyle Bolin as the Scarlet Knights’ new signal caller on Monday.

Bolin comes to Rutgers after spending four seasons at Louisville. While with the Cardinals, Bolin played in 13 games while starting six. However, Bolin would lose his starting job to eventual 2016 Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson. He was bumped to the No. 3 quarterback at Louisville in spring practice before leaving.
The 6-foot-3 signal caller beat out Zach Allen and Giovanni Rescingo for the job.
Bolin will be the fourth starting quarterback for Rutgers in as many seasons. Throughout his college career, Bolin has thrown for 2,104 yards, 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
