Maryland is looking to bounce back from its backbreaking loss to Purdue Saturday.

The Terrapins took one step back after a win against Michigan State and a close game against Michigan 2 weeks ago. Purdue has been playing well as of late, but it’s still one the Terps wish they could have back.

Indiana had some early season success, knocking off now-ranked No. 24 Illinois in the first game of the year to add to a 3-game win streak out of the gate. The Hoosiers have lost 3 straight since a Week 3 Western Kentucky win.

Any chance of a bowl game hinges on how the Hoosiers play Saturday. For what it’s worth, ESPN’s FPI (football power index) doesn’t love their chances.

The FPI gives Maryland an 80% chance to get it done on the road against the Hoosiers.

Even on the road, that seems like the obvious choice. Taulia Tagovailoa and a dangerous group of receivers is a scary sight for any defense, and the Hoosiers defense has struggled this season.

Let’s see if the Hoosiers have any tricks up their sleeves.
