According to PFF’s latest offensive rankings, the B1G continues to impress this season on both sides of the ball. Minnesota quarterback Tanner Morgan is currently the highest-graded offensive player in the country. Four other B1G names were also mentioned on PFF’s list.

Morgan, a super senior, has been one of the offensive cornerstones for the Golden Gophers’ success in 2022. In 5 games, Morgan has totaled 1,143 passing yards and 7 touchdowns against 4 interceptions. Morgan is also completing 70.5% of his passes and is averaging 10.2 yards per attempt.

Golden Gophers’ Brevyn Span-Ford has been Morgan’s go-to target this season, especially on 1st down. Span-Ford has averaged 15.7 yards per catch while recording 14 catches for 220 yards and a touchdown. Currently, 50% of his receptions have come on 1st down plays.

Blake Corum has been one of the nation’s top runners this season behind Michigan’s offensive line. He currently leads the FBS in rushing touchdowns (11) and has averaged (6.2) yards per carry. Through 6 games, Corum has surpassed the 100-yard marker on 3 different occasions.

Tagovailoa currently ranks second among B1G passers in yards (1,731), and completion rating (74.1) to go along with 11 passing TDs. His 161.3 passer rating ranks 5th among quarterbacks in the conference.
