Pat Micheletti is handing out his hardware after the second week of the 2022 college hockey season.

During a segment on the Big Ten Network, Micheletti listed his 3 ‘Pat’s Pucks’ after last weekend’s matchups.  Minnesota forward Jimmy Snuggerud, Penn State forward Kevin Wall and Ohio State forward Stephen Halliday were all listed as the top names to watch for.

In his 1st series against Minnesota State, Snuggerud scored 4 goals in a 2-game set. Snuggerud completed the hat trick in the Golden Gophers’ 4-1 win over the Mavericks, including scoring on a power play with 10:46 remaining in the third period.

Snuggerud also scored the opening goal in a 3-2 loss a day later.

Wall recorded 5 points in the Nittany Lions’ 2-game sweep over Canisius. Wall was credited with 3 assists and 2 goals scored. This season, Wall has registered a team-high 13 shots on goal.

Halliday, a freshman from Glenwood, M.D., scored his first career goal on Friday evening against Wisconsin. He followed that up a day later in the Buckeyes’ 4-3 win over the Badgers with a career-high 3 assists.

Snuggerud and the Golden Gophers will face North Dakota in two weeks at the 3M Arena at Mariucci. Meanwhile, Hall and the Nittany Lions will face Mercyhurst on Friday evening in Erie, while Halliday and the Buckeyes are set to take on UConn in Hartford.
