Michigan football is swinging for the fences this week against No. 10 Penn State. And the hype around Saturday’s matchup? One could call it “a-Maize-ing,” though the uniforms won’t have much of that color.
Michigan released a hype video officially announcing what it will be wearing, uniform-wise, for the “Maize Out” game against the Nittany Lions. The No. 5 Wolverines plan to be stylish after starting the year off 6-0 for the 2nd straight season.
Last season, U-M’s Cade McNamara connected with tight end Erick All for a 47-yard touchdown with just over 3 minutes left to pick up the 21-17 win in Happy Valley. The Wolverines’ defense, led by star pass-rushers Aidan Hutchinson and David Ojabo, held Penn State’s offense to 332 yards and 1 touchdown.
The season, the Nittany Lions have trusted their 1-2 freshman running back combination to guide them to a 5-0 start. Nick Singleton currently leads Penn State in rushing yards with 463, while Kaytron Allen is close behind with 303 yards. Currently, Penn State ranks 33rd in rushing among FBS schools, averaging 192.6 yards per game.
Kickoff from Ann Arbor is set for noon E.T. on FOX.
