The Indiana Hoosiers are under a week away until they kickoff their season against Ohio State. And the Hoosiers are still unclear about the status of one of their top playmakers.
On Friday, Indiana head coach Tom Allen said there is still no final decision on wide receiver Simmie Cobbs status for Week 1, following the redshirt junior’s arrest last month.
Cobbs was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of refusal to identify and resisting law enforcement. He has been a regular participant during preseason practices and it’s not clear whether or not he will lose game time for the incident.
Cobbs was listed as one of Indiana’s starting wide receivers last Friday.
