Payton Thorne connected with Jayden Reed for the game-winning score against Wisconsin in double overtime. The Michigan State teammates were also high school teammates at Naperville Central in Illinois, and their chemistry was on full display in Week 7.

The Spartans took down the Badgers in overtime, by a score of 34-28. On that game-winning play, Thorne actually called an audible when he saw Reed in single coverage.

The pair connected for a 27-yard score to give Michigan State the win.

Reed finished with 9 catches for 117 yards and the game-winning score. Thorne had one of his best games of the season, going for 265 yards and 2 TDs in the victory.

The win against Wisconsin ends a 4-game losing streak for the Spartans. The Spartans now head to their bye week with some momentum.
