Jayden Reed scored a game-winning 27-yard TD in double-overtime against Wisconsin to seal the win over Wisconsin.
The ball thrown to Reed would widely be considered a “50-50” ball of a contested nature, but don’t tell Reed that. Reed took to Twitter after the game to share his thoughts after the incredible catch.
💩 ain’t 50/50..

Reed did not think the Wisconsin defender had a 50% chance of catching that ball. Quarterback Payton Thorne likely had similar thoughts after sharing that he audibled into a play designed to go to Reed in one-on-one coverage.
The score further added to a season-best performance from Reed, who finished with 9 catches for 117 yards and the winning score. Reed is the 2nd-leading receiver on the Spartans, behind only Keon Coleman.
The Spartans desperately needed a conference win, and thanks to Reed, they obtained one. The Spartans hope to keep the momentum going after the bye week when they travel to Ann Arbor in Week 9.
