Jeff Brohm has nothing but appreciation for his Purdue Boilermakers after their fourth consecutive win. In Week 7, Purdue held off Nebraska for a 43-37 win at home despite several comeback attempts from the Cornhuskers.

After Nebraska scored in 3-plays to get within one possession, the offense of Purdue grinded out a 12-play drive that killed the final 5 minutes and 55 seconds off the clock to end a potential comeback.

Purdue started the season 1-2, with the 2 losses being 35-31 at home versus Penn State (now 5-1) and 32-29 at Syracuse (now 32-29). Since those 2 losses, the Boilermakers have won 4 consecutive games, with 3 of them being B1G opponents.

Purdue is 1-0 versus ranked opponents as they took down No. 21 Minnesota 20-10 on the road. The next game up for the Boilermakers is a big road test versus Wisconsin in Week 8.
