James Franklin and Penn State really, really hopes Micah Parsons reconsiders his choice to decommit from the Nittany Lions.
Parsons, a five-star defensive end and a top-five player in the 2018 recruiting class, tried his hand at running back on Saturday and made an entire high school defense look silly.
After plowing through a pile of lineman, Parson jolted to the end zone for a touchdown. It may not sound like much but the video shows the pure strength and agility of the 6-foot-3, 235-pound athlete:

Yeah, the coaching staff might keep Parsons at running back all year long.
Parsons had initially committed to the Nittany Lions in February 2016 but decided to decommit this past April following growing interest from other programs. The top-ranked defensive end has received offers from Ohio State, Nebraska, Alabama, LSU and Michigan, among other programs.
Though he decommitted, Parsons hasn’t ruled Penn State out as a landing spot and has taken several unofficial visits to Happy Valley. Currently, 247Sports’ Crystal Ball projects Ohio State as the likely landing spot for the five-star talent.
