Illinois is now 6-1 heading into the bye week after beating Minnesota on Saturday. The Fighting Illini are having a special offer for fans now that the team is ranked 18th.

Illinois plays Michigan State on Nov. 5. To celebrate being the No. 18 ranked team in the country, tickets are going to be $18 for the next 18 hours. The sale officially kicks off Monday morning at 9 am.

Michigan State snapped its four-game losing streak with a double overtime win over Wisconsin in Week 7. Payton Thorne found reliable target Jayden Reed in the end zone for the game-winning touchdown in East Lansing. The Spartans face undefeated Michigan next on Oct. 29.

This offer must have been quite popular among fans, as the team did something similar when the team was ranked No. 24. Maybe offers like this will continue as long as Illinois keeps on winning.

Illinois will have to get past Nebraska first before facing the Spartans. It won’t be an easy task for the Fighting Illini as the Huskers have not been a pushover under Mickey Joseph.
