Ohio State receiver Johnnie Dixon got some really special news this weekend, and it’s hard to know who is more excited, him or his mother.

On Sunday evening, Ohio State wide receivers coach Zach Smith called Dixon’s mother to inform her that her son, Johnnie, would be receiving his first career start for the Buckeyes. And her reaction was absolutely priceless.

You heard her. That’s one proud mother.

Dixon has played 14 games throughout his Ohio State career, catching seven total passes for 55 yards. His first start will come in B1G action as the Buckeyes play Indiana in Bloomington to open the year on Aug. 31.
