BTN releases 2017 preseason B1G power rankings

Game week has finally arrived. The week we’ve all been waiting for all offseason long is here, and now we just have a few more days to glide through before B1G football is back on our television screens.
To help us get through a couple more days, Big Ten Network released its preseason power rankings for every team in the B1G. Not surprisingly, the four teams that were ranked by the Coaches and Associated Press are at the top.
Here’s a look at where BTN has each team ranked heading into the 2017 season:
- Ohio State
- Penn State
- Wisconsin
- Michigan
- Northwestern
- Nebraska
- Iowa
- Maryland
- Michigan State
- Indiana
- Minnesota
- Purdue
- Rutgers
- Illinois
There’s not really anything to glaring or unpredictable about these rankings. Every team is at or around where it should be, at least based on what we know from the offseason.
What do you think? Who should be higher? who should be lower? And who is ranked just right?
In just a few days, we’ll get a little better understanding of what these teams actually look like.
