Russell Wilson got an MRI done on his hamstring earlier following his injury on Monday Night Football. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported on what his status is heading into Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

Wilson is reportedly listed as day-to-day vs. the Jets. He suffered a hamstring injury against the L.A. Chargers on Monday, but is wanting to play through it. The Denver Broncos are planning on monitoring his health leading up the game.

The Broncos lost to the Chargers on a game-winning field goal in overtime. Dustin Hopkins secured the 19-16 win on a 39-yard field goal.

Wilson completed 15 out of his 28 passes for 188 yards passing and 1 touchdown. Wilson suffered the injury at some point during the game, but did not exit the contest.

Denver is now 2-4 following a 2-1 start to the year. Stay tuned for more updates about Wilson’s status as Sunday gets closer.

The Broncos play the Jets Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET on CBS.
