The city of Nashville and the Tennessee Titans has agreed to a new stadium after 23 years at Nissan Stadium. The new expected stadium is planned to cost about $2.1 to create.

The Titans organization has been looking to move on from playing at Nissan Stadium without improvement in those 23 years. Nissan Stadium is expected to be demolished when the new stadium is built.

Among the outside parties that will benefit from this new stadium in Nashville is the College Football Playoff National Championship game.

In the 8 games of the CFB Playoff National Championship game since it started in 2014, the title games have been played in neural sites and not affiliated with any of the other bowl games. All previous host sites and announced future venues are the hosting sites of NFL teams.
