Papa Kante, a 4-star center in the 2023 recruiting class, has announced his time to commit to a program on Thursday at 6 pm ET, which will be covered live on 247Sports. He will choose between B1G schools, including Maryland, Michigan, and Rutgers, as well as Memphis and Pittsburgh.

Kante has 19 total offers to play division I college basketball, including Maryland, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, and Rutgers. Maryland is the only school he has paid an official visit to. Kante is rated as the 108th-best prospect in the nation, the 14th-best center and the 4th-best center, according to 247Sports Composite.
He measures in 6-10; 215 pounds with a 7-foot-4 wingspan as he possesses size, great strength, and an imposing frame. Kante is also a highly efficient rebounder and an active shot-blocker.
