Minnesota drops hype video ahead of visit to Penn State for Nittany Lions’ ‘White Out’ game

Minnesota is set to step into an imposing environment on Saturday as it travels to State College to face No. 16 Penn State.

It’s not just any game for the Nittany Lions. This has been designated as the team’s annual “White Out” game, meaning an already vocal Beaver Stadium crowd will be that much more hyped up. A 7:30 p.m. primetime slot on ABC will only add to the intensity.

The last time the 2 met in State College was in 2016, with the Gophers dropping that one by a 29-26 margin. The previous meeting overall was in 2019, a 31-26 win for P.J. Fleck’s team in Minneapolis.

Meanwhile, the Gophers have lost 2 in a row to Purdue and Illinois after getting off to a 4-0 start. A win on Saturday could provide a boost for the back half of the 2022 slate. Can they pull off a road upset in Happy Valley?
