Brown has already eclipsed his 2021 total of 1,005 yards, with at least 5 games left to play. Not only is Brown the leading rusher for the Fighting Illini, but he is also 4th on the team in receiving yards. Brown has 107 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs to go along with his 1,059 rushing yards and 4 rushing TDs.
Brown has not gotten much Heisman buzz, but that could change soon. Brown will have a chance to add to his impressive total in Week 9 when the Illini travel to Lincoln to take on Nebraska.
