Washington quarterback Jake Browning may have a brief talk with his offensive linemen.
Midway through the first quarter, Browning dropped back for a pass, hoping to find an open receiver. The only thing he found, though, was Rutgers defensive lineman Darnell Davis at full speed.
Before Browning was able to release the ball, Davis absolutely rocked the Washington QB, forcing a fumble and creating a highlight reel hit.
We sincerely hope Jake Browning is OK after this monster Darnell Davis @RFootball sack. https://t.co/vBeFuB9Uo7

Rutgers was one of the worst defensive teams in the country last season but that’s not been evident early in this game.
Browning can verify that the Scarlet Knights don’t lack on powerful hitters, either.
