Gus Edwards is active once again, joining the Baltimore Ravens for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns. It is Edwards’ first game played since the 2020 playoffs as he comes back from a serious knee injury.
His impact has been felt with Edwards even scoring his first touchdown of the season ahead of halftime. It goes down as Edwards’ first NFL touchdown since Dec. 14 of the 2020 season.
Go crazy, #RavensFlock! @GodsGiftGus13 gives Baltimore its first lead of the day.

At halftime, Edwards has 10 carries for 49 yards and a touchdown. For a player — and a team — that has battled so many injuries to the running back room, seeing Edwards back on the field is a welcome sight.
Prior to his injury in 2021, Edwards had over 2,100 yards from 2018-20. He eclipsed 700 yards in a season each year in that time span before missing all of 2021 and the first part of 2022 with his knee injury.
Hopefully, Edwards is able to keep moving forward without any setbacks.
