What’s more impressive than scoring your first collegiate touchdown in the first game of the season?
How about doing it as a true freshman?
That’s what Wisconsin running back Jonathon Taylor did in the Badgers’ season opener on Friday night against Utah State. Midway through the third quarter, the freshman ball-carrier took a handoff from the 13-yard line, avoided a pile up and jolted past a few Aggie defenders to reach the end zone:
Not bad for your first career TD
Not bad at all, @23J_Taylor #OnWisconsin || #Badgers https://t.co/5llMZnaEjG

The touchdown gave the Badgers a 31-10 lead over Utah State in the third quarter.
