The 2022 AP Sports preseason men’s basketball All-American team is out. The top players in college basketball made the team, including 1 player from the B1G.
Trayce Jackson-Davis made the All-American team from Indiana. The Hoosiers are ranked No. 13 heading into the year and for good reason with Jackson-Davis back for another round.
Some of the other players that made the team were Gonzaga center Drew Timme, North Carolina forward Armando Bacot, Kentucky center Oscar Tshiebwe, and Houston guard Marcus Sasser. Timme and Tshiebwe were both unanimous selections.
Indiana will be looking to have back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances this season after breaking a nearly six year absence from the event last season. Mike Woodson finished with a 21-14 record after his first year with the program.
Indiana’s season tips off against Morehead State on Nov. 7. That game starts at 7 p.m. ET and no channel has been announced for it just yet.
