Iowa has had a rough go on the offensive end this season; they are coming off a 54-10 thumping from the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes. The defense has not been a problem for the Hawkeyes, and it would be easy for the defense to give up and be upset.
The offense has yet to score over 30 points this season, which is pretty crazy for a modern college football team. The defense subsequently has given up 7, 10, 0, 27, 9 and 54 points on the year.
The Hawkeyes are 3-4 on the year and 1-3 in B1G play.
Linebacker Jack Campbell is not giving up on the season:
Iowa all-American MLB Jack Campbell: “When outsiders say, ‘Why not give up on the season?’ No offense to them, but that may be kind of why you’re an outsider. … If you’re going to give up when stuff gets hard, that’s not the right way to look at things.”

Iowa will have a get-right game against Northwestern, but if the offense does not pick up against the lowly Wildcats, it’ll be interesting to see what the Hawkeye faithful thinks of where the offense goes from here.
The Hawkeyes host the Northwestern Wildcats on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 3:30 ET on ESPN2.
