The Michigan-Florida game was one of the best Week 1 matchups in all of college football. And the television ratings proved it.
The battle between the Wolverines and the Gators drew a 5.0 overnight rating, which is the best non-primetime opening weekend game ever for ESPN/ABC.

Despite it being all Wolverines toward the end of game, at least Michigan-Florida posted historic viewership.
