Two former B1G stars are expected to see the field on Thursday Night Football for the Baltimore Ravens.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, both running back Gus Edwards (knee) and wide receiver Rashod Bateman (foot) are expected to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ravens tight end Mark Andrews (knee) was also cleared to face off against Tom Brady and the NFC South-leading franchise.
Edwards, who finished his career at Rutgers after spending 4 years at Miami, made his season debut on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. He recorded 16 carries for 66 yards and scored 2 touchdowns en route to a 23-20 win at home. Edwards missed all of the 2021 season after suffering a torn ACL in practice in early September.

During his lone season with the Scarlet Knights, Edwards rushed for 713 yards off 64 carries and scored 7 total touchdowns. He also averaged 4.3 yards per run and 7.9 yards per catch.
Bateman, a former star for Minnesota, missed 2 games after suffering a foot injury against the Buffalo Bills in Week 4. Also returning to action last week, the former 1st-round pick totaled a team-high 4 catches for 42 yards.
A 3-year starter for the Golden Gophers, Bateman tallied 147 catches for 2,395 and 19 touchdowns while averaging 16.3 yards per catch. He’d be selected 27th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Kickoff from Raymond James Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m. E.T.
