Tom Brady sets unfortunate all-time mark during Thursday Night Football

Tom Brady has played long enough to set some of the biggest all-time records in NFL history. However, when you play as long as Brady does, you are destined to set some… unfortunate all-time marks in the process.
That happened in the first half of Thursday Night Football when Brady surpassed Ben Roethlisberger for one stat. The distinction? Brady has now been sacked more than any other quarterback in NFL history.
Roethlisberger and Brady were briefly tied with 554 career sacks. Then, Brady was sacked in the first half against the Baltimore Ravens for the 555th time in his career. Justin Houston provided the record with a sack of Brady.
Though Brady has been sacked twice on Thursday night, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lead the Ravens 10-3 at the half. Brady has been mostly good in the game while completing 10-of-17 passes for 142 yards.
We’ll see if Brady and the Bucs can get a win and get the 2022 season on track moving forward.
