Micah Parsons added to injury report for Dallas Cowboys entering Week 8

Micah Parsons is in the middle of a dominant season with the Dallas Cowboys’ defense. Unfortunately, he was added to the team’s injury report on Thursday.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Parsons was added to the injury report after being a limited participant in Thursday’s practice. Schefter reports the issue Parsons is dealing with is something related to his shoulder.
The fact that Parsons was a limited participant and not a full absence with the injury is likely a good sign for his Week 8 status against the Chicago Bears. Either way, his status will be something to monitor ahead of kickoff.
Cowboys added Micah Parsons and Sam Williams to their injury report today; Parsons was limited with a shoulder issue and Williams did not participate due to a knee injury.

Through the first 7 games of the season, Parsons already has 8 sacks and 14 total QB hits. He is also tied for 5th on the Dallas defense with 32 total tackles and leads the team in sacks, QB hits, TFL (9) and forced fumbles (2).
In the win over the Detroit Lions, Parsons registered 2 sacks, his 4th multi-sack performance of the season.
