Speaking of the Buckeyes, Micheletti has them as No. 2 in the rankings after starting the year off 6-1. Micheletti said 1 of the keys to the early success has been due to their consistent play on the ice.
Ohio State has outscored opponents 28-16 through its first 7 games.
Michigan finds itself as Micheletti’s No. 3 after starting the season 5-1. The Wolverines return to the ice Friday night to take on Western Michigan in a home vs. home series beginning in Ann Arbor.
Penn State, Micheletti’s No. 4 team, will travel to Madison to take on Wisconsin. The Nittany Lions are the only B1G team left undefeated through the 1st month of action.
Notre Dame comes in as Micheletti’s No. 5 team due to its inconsistencies on offense. Meanwhile, Wisconsin and Michigan State round out the list at No. 6 and No. 7.
