Marvin Harrison Jr is getting hot early on against Penn State. He hauled in a 37-yard reception in the first quarter on Ohio State’s opening drive.
C.J. Stroud needed a big completion on a third down play, and Harrison provided. Harrison had 598 yards receiving coming into this game. He may be due for another big outing if he’s making plays like this in the first half.
Harrison’s catch kept Ohio State’s drive alive. The Buckeyes were later held to a field goal by the Penn State defense.
So far Ohio State leads Penn State just 3-0 after Noah Ruggles knocked down a 38-yard field goal. Ruggles has not missed an extra point all season, and is 6-for-7 on field goal attempts.
