The Michigan Wolverines defeated the Michigan State Spartans 29-7 in Ann Arbor in Week 9.

Not only did the Wolverines end their 2-game losing streak to the Spartans, but they also achieved a milestone in the process.

The win in Week 9 was the 450th win in The Big House for the Wolverines.

The Wolverines have not lost a game at The Big House since the shortened 2020 season. That includes a 7-0 home mark in 2021 and a 6-0 start at home in 2022.

With the win in Week 9, the Wolverines improved to 8-0 on the season and ended the Spartans’ 2-game series win streak.

J.J. McCarthy played a mistake-free game, finishing 15-of-25 for 167 yards and 1 TD. Blake Corum had 100+ rushing yards for the 5th game in a row, finishing Week 9 with 177 yards.

The Wolverines will look to remain perfect in Week 10 when the team travels to take on Rutgers. The team will have a chance to add another home victory in Week 11 when Nebraska comes to Ann Arbor.
