Tim Brando shares updated Top 10 rankings with new No. 1 after Week 9 games

Tim Brando has a shakeup in his latest rankings.

Ohio State long held the No. 1 spot in “Timmy B’s Top 10” weekly posted to Twitter by the FOX broadcaster during the college football season. Brando however, has a new No. 1 in his top 10.

Brando now has Tennessee No. 1 after the Week 9 games. The Volunteers improved to 8-0 on the year with a 44-6 win over a Kentucky team that was ranked No. 19 in the AP Top 25.

Brando bumped Ohio State down to No. 2. The Buckeyes are also 8-0 after a 44-31 win over a Penn State team that was ranked No. 13 in the AP poll.

Michigan is No. 4 in Brando’s top 10, behind defending national champion Georgia at No. 3.

Brando sees a pair of B1G teams as just outside the top-10 best. Both Illinois and Penn State are listed among the 8 additional teams.

It will be interesting to see how Brando’s rankings compare to the College Football Playoff selection committee rankings to be revealed shortly.
