Michigan’s defense decided to get in on the scoring on Saturday afternoon.
Midway through the first quarter, Wolverines defender Tyree Kinnel intercepted a Hayden Moore pass and returned it 28 yards for the touchdown. It gave Michigan a 14-0 lead in the opening quarter.
