Another week is upon us and Indiana coach Tom Allen wants to keep people guessing.
During a presser on Thursday, Allen was asked about the quarterback situation and who will be starting for the Hoosiers in Saturday’s game against Penn State. He didn’t really offer too much insight into who it will be but did have a comment on the speculation.
Asked Allen if there was a quarterback competition this week or if there was a determination made after the bye of who the starter would be. Said a "collective decision" was made but said he wouldn't say anything more about that.

Saying in part that a decision has been determined but would not divulge on who it will be. Allen could be sticking with Connor Bazelek as starting quarterback, or he could start backup Jack Tuttle. Or maybe even provide Brendon Soresby, a freshman an opportunity to show his skillset.
The Hoosiers have been struggling with 5 straight losses, and are coming off a bye week to compete. Bazelek has a total of 55.9% completions for 251.6 yards with 6 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. Indiana’s last win was on Sept. 17 where Bazelek only produced 2 scoring drives, in his first and last possession.
As of right now, the decision is under wraps and we probably won’t know anything until Indiana’s offense takes the field Saturday.
Indiana will host Penn State on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
