Spartan faithful are hoping the icy-white jerseys will help the team snap its recent cold streak. The Spartans have gone 1-5 over their last 6 after starting out 2-0.
The Spartans will have a tough task, traveling to Illinois in Week 10 to take on the 14th-ranked Fighting Illini. With a win, the Spartans would improve to 4-5 on the season and keep any bowl game hopes alive.
Michigan State also hits Week 10 looking to put the ugly incident in Ann Arbor well in the rearview mirror after Week 9. Hopefully, a win — and an uneventful afternoon — will get the program moving into November.
