Miles Sanders knows his Philadelphia Eagles can maintain a 17-0 perfect record after the Eagles defeated the Houston Texans 29-17 on Thursday Night Football. The former Penn State running back rushed for 93 yards and 1 touchdown on 17 carries.
During his postgame press conference, Sanders had this to say about the win:
“It’s a blessing, it’s not easy in this league. Happy we got 8 out of the way. We’re on to bigger and better things still, but still trying to take it one game at a time. Still got a long season and a division game coming up. So, we’ve gotta stuff we need to focus on more than being 8-0.”
